It looks like we are in for a fantastic day of sailing at the Coastal Bend Model Yacht Club Sail Out this Saturday, July 18th, from 12–4 PM!
The forecast is calling for SSE winds at 15–25 mph, with cloudy skies and a high around 93°F. After having to cancel last month because of the weather, we couldn’t ask for a much better opportunity to get everyone back together and the boats back on the water!
We have already heard from numerous folks who are planning to attend, so this could be one of our biggest turnouts of the year. With those winds, we should have plenty of action and some exciting racing on the main channel!
William and I will be there early setting up the race buoys, dock, chase boat, and countdown speaker so we can have a proper race-worthy course ready to go.

Bring your boats, pop-up tents, and lawn chairs, and come prepared for a great afternoon of sailing and catching up with good sailing friends!
