Join us for another great afternoon of RC Laser sailing at the L-Head in beautiful downtown Corpus Christi, Texas!
With the 2026 AMYA Region 5 RC Laser Championship Regatta just three weeks away on August 29th at Woodlawn Lake in San Antonio, this Sail Out is the perfect opportunity to get your boat race-ready. Fine-tune your tuning, work out any last-minute bugs, and if something breaks, you’ll still have time to repair it before the championship.
We’ll have a full race course set up and will be running races throughout the afternoon, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to practice starts, mark roundings, boat handling, and race strategy.
The forecast is calling for 15–25 mph southeast winds, partly cloudy skies, and a high of 93°—which is about as close to a typical August day on Corpus Christi Bay as you can get!
As always, the L-Head offers easy access. We can back our vehicles right up to the breakwater, making unloading and setup quick and convenient.
