Just a reminder that we’ll be out at the L Head tomorrow from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for the monthly Coastal Bend Model Yacht Club sailout.
The weather is looking good, the boats are ready, and the grill has been in “training” all week preparing for hamburger duty. My wife will also be joining us tomorrow, proving that CBMYC fully supports our newly established “Mother’s Sail Free Day” initiative in honor of Mother’s Day weekend… courtesy of Commodore Mike’s scheduling concerns.
This location is about as easy as it gets—drive right up, park, and we’re only a few feet from the water. No long walks hauling gear.
We’ve had a number of recent inquiries from prospective new members, so if you’ve been thinking about coming out, tomorrow is a great chance to meet the group and get on the water.
Bring your boats, your appetite, and maybe a folding chair. There is still a strong possibility the famous banana nut cookies will make an appearance.
Please text back if you’re planning to attend so we can get a rough headcount for burgers.
Hope to see everyone out there.
