At the conclusion of the 9th Annual Saltwater Challenge, RC Laser Regatta, Silver Fleet Champion Terry Lindemann was unfortunately unable to remain for the awards ceremony and therefore did not receive his First Place plaque at that time.
After a little more than four months of trying to reconnect, Terry was finally located this past Sunday while out practicing for the upcoming Region 5 Championship RC Laser Regatta, scheduled to be held at Woodlawn Lake in San Antonio on June 6, 2026.
The delayed presentation was made lakeside, where Terry graciously accepted his well-earned Silver Fleet First Place plaque. His performance at the Saltwater Challenge was a testament to both his skill and dedication to the sport.
Congratulations, Terry, on an outstanding achievement. As a result of your Silver Fleet victory, you will be mandatorily promoted to Gold Fleet competition next year. We wish you the best of luck as you move up to race against the top competitors in the fleet.
Congratulations again, Terry, and fair winds at the Region 5 Championship!
