What a fantastic day on the water! Blue skies, comfortable temperatures in the 70s, and a nice northerly breeze coming down the channel made for nearly perfect RC Laser sailing. We started out in C rigs and stayed with them all day, enjoying some great sailing conditions inside the harbor.
John and I got the boats set up and sailing, worked through a few boat issues, and enjoyed some great time on the water. Then we had a pleasant surprise when Dan stopped by to see what we were doing. We handed him the controls of RC Laser 55, and he was off sailing! He enjoyed it enough to take pictures and call his wife and little one down to join us. What a sweet family! We really enjoyed their company, and they seemed interested in getting involved with the club. Hopefully we’ll see them again in November!
Days like this remind you why we do this. Not too hot, not too cold, beautiful skies, good company, and boats sailing on the water. One of those rare 1% days you just can’t afford to miss.
